Founded in 1984 this brewery claims to be the oldest Craft brewery in Oregon. Their best production is the Indian Pale Ale which has won multiple awards. Also popular is the Blue Heron Pale Ale named after the city's official bird. Not only are the drinks delicious but the actual Pub is very laid back. It's very cosy, and there are TVs upstairs where you can catch a game. The food is perfect with a beer. The bartender is friendly. The service is quick. And there is free Wi-Fi. At any given time there are 10 beers on tap. You really can't ask for more. Check the brewery website calendar for upcoming events. Contact the administration for tours of the brewery.

Bridgeport Brewing Company Reviews & Ratings

  • Very awesome scene straight out of the old industrial side of Portland. Giant apartment buildings have since taken over the area but there's a lot of history in the Bridgeport building. It's a shame it's closing because I've only had the chance to go once, it's a rich experience for an affordable price!

  • Love the food and decor. Nice selection of unique brews too. I live nearby and it's a blessing to have such a great brewpub within walking distance.

  • The best part about this place wasn't even the beer. It was the fact that the staff found my wallet that I left at the bar the night before a flight and saved me. I will forever be greatful. Mind you the service was just as good as the fact they found my wallet unscathed. But for the people that care, the beer was awesome!

  • Fantastic food and service! We had the Chicken Pot Pie, The Brats and the Banh Mi Sandwich. Our server went out of her way to make our lunch worth coming back. Wish I had her name. She wore a pink sweater. Also, a woman came out from the brewery and gave us a short history of the beautiful building. The interior is gorgeous. Can't wait to go back!!!

  • Great food! Our server was wonderful and knowledgeable. She had great recommendations for food and beer. Gluten free options were available for food and drinks, the options are clearly labeled for vegan and gluten free options, it's a recommend!
