I came here for lunch with a friend and got sandwiches as well as their famous fries and some home made sodas. The food was pretty good, but very greasy. The fries came with some interesting dipping sauces. I especially recommend the curry mayo. The sodas were both delicious and were my favourite part. Overall I enjoyed it here, but for the price I expected better flavor.
Really nice little spot to eat! Really friendly staff, nice selection of wines and handful of beer and cider. The food was fantastic, the fries were very good. The large fries were enough for two people maybe even 3. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area!
Duckfat definitely lived up to all the hype! We were expecting a long wait, but got there around 11 on a Thursday and were seated immediately. By the time we left an hour later the wait was about 45 minutes. We split an order of poutine (I highly recommend getting the duck egg on top) and the crab melt special. The food was phenomenal. The beer selection was wonderful. Our sever was very friendly and informative and it was great to watch all the staff work together so well and efficiently in such a small space. We were also pleasantly surprised by the bill. We left feeling very full and satisfied without feeling like we had been robbed. If I ever end up in Portland again, I definitely coming back.
The overnight duck sandwich was great as we're the fries. I like that they have different dipping sauces. The Thai was the best that I tried. The wait for a table can be quite long. But take out is very quick and easy.
I've heard over and over again I "needed" to try their food (esp the fries) so I did.. Service was friendly and polite. Food came fairly quick, though packed. Food was pretty good, fries were deffinetly some of the best I've ever had. And the sauces to choose from were pretty good !!
