Great place for good food! If it wasn't great food, it wouldn't be around. The service is high production, prompt and attentive. There is a steady stream of takeout customers interspersed with dine-in customers coming and going. Where else can you have a great meal and be on your way in thirty minutes?
My boyfriend and I came here because we saw the video online about diners, drive ins, and dives coming to the noodle house and displaying how immaculate the noodles and the experience were. I have to say our server made this experience way better than the food did. The noodles were amazing, thick and flavorful and definitely made in house. However we also had the spring rolls and soups and those were both sub par. The hype is not accurate nor is the experience and we were disappointed as this is an average noodle spot.
We found Franks Noodle House after being featured on Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives. We were visiting Portland from Tampa. The hand pulled noodles were everything we were hoping for. FANTASTIC!! We also had an opportunity to meet Frank, what a nice man. We will definitely return on our next visit.
Forget Olive Garden! There's a new Noodle King in town.Get the jellyfish salad and some noodles. The jelly fish is super tasty. The noodles are great too, I mean, it's called Frank's Noodle House. The noodles are like real chewy and thickkk. Highly recommend to Noodle lovers who have class and/or can't afford the pasta pass at Olive Garden.
O.M.G. (Like, literally!) Frank's may be the very best, authentic Asian restaurant, we've ever eaten!! And we're sadly, not from Oregon (a day later I'm writing this, and I'm already craving Noodles!). We came for a quick trip...It sounded good, and was close to our hotel ...But WOW!! We were certainly surprised! Reasonably priced, with huge portions. And...A lovely atmosphere, and service. The waiters work very well together, and know their stuff! When back in Oregon, we'll be planning a visit to Frank's!
