Saturday Market is the best place for unique, handmade items you can't find anywhere else. Food is great too and there's music / entertainment as you explore. Only open from Spring to Christmas. 😕 You can spend a whole morning and afternoon there. When the market is closed, you can still walk the beautiful waterfront park.
Beautiful park located in downtown Portland filled with walkers and bicyclists moving along flanked by the Willamette River. Benches overlook the river as visitors enjoy the water and their picnic lunches. The trees along the paths are bright with the red orange leaves of fall. We spent a very relaxing afternoon here and left for Voodoo Donuts after watching people carrying their pink boxes around us.
Really pretty. Great views of the city and you can even see Mt. Hood from some spots. Slightly reminded me of the River walk in Savannah GA, if you've been there.
A lovely stroll along the waterfront. Great way to get around the city. If you're walking around, definitely take this route. Especially s fun way to walk up to the Portland Saturday Market.
Great location by the river. Walking trail is well done. The negative is a lot of speeding bicyclist
