  • Some of the best locally-brewed beer in Maine. The atmosphere is great too. Food is good though pricey for pub fare. One of the best spots in the Auburn area to get a pint of excellent beer and relax with friends. Kid-friendly too.

  • Better than average pub style food with a decent beer selection. Band was getting ready to start when we left and there was a waiting line also. Seems like it was gonna be a little loud as a younger crowd was filling in.

  • Decent food and beer, good service. Will probably go again when I make my way back to Lewiston. Fish and chips was solid.

  • I ordered chowder. Delicious! Hubby ordered Rubin and fries. Not so delicious! Fries tasted like leftovers reheated in the microwave.

  • Gritty's in Auburn had a great deck overlooking the Androscoggin River just below great falls. The food is pub fare made to a higher standard than 'standard' pub fare and the beer is good. There is always a small batch or cask conditioned beer available. They could do better with vegan options, but it's a restaurant at a bar/brewery, so it's probably a little unreasonable to expect a lot of meat and dairy free options. Staff is friendly and they are willing to modify menu options for dietary restrictions. Even when it's busy, the service is fairly quick.
