The park is named in honour of the head of the Portland development Commission from 1958 to 1972. The main attraction here is the beautiful concrete water fountain designed by Angela Danadjieva who was inspired by the formation of the waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge. More than 13000 gallons of water cascade through the waterfall every minute. It is adorned with shore pine trees. There's a food cart here that serves Bento. Very occasionally there are events held here. For the best pictures, head to the top of the waterfall. This is widely considered as one of the finest examples of urban landscape architecture.

Ira Keller Fountain Park Reviews & Ratings
This is so beautiful and functional for the hot weather, right in the middle of down town! You're able to walk behind the falls and get in the pools to cool off. The only issue I had was no bathroom. They closed closed them. Well worth spending a few hour though!
So we literally walked by this park as we were walking from our hotel to Ross. It is absolutely beautiful and just peaceful. There were a few people taking pictures and couples just relaxing. If you have a few minutes, this stop is well worth it.
A fun little treat in downtown Portland! Super clean, well maintained and fun to explore the bottom of the waterfalls and the top! Loved the views, the serenity and retreat this small little water park offered.
Lovely little park within the city. It's a relaxing place to read a book, eat or meditate. Usually not very crowded and it's mesmerizing to look at the water.
Nice clean little park. The fountain is lovely. Nice to stop and enjoy for a few minutes
