Kingsland Kitchen Reviews & Ratings

  • This was another favorite of ours for breakfast when we visited Portland. This bright and hip bistro of sorts was well staffed and had a great menu. We were promptly greeted and attended to very diligently with professional and friendly service throughout our whole dinning experience. If you are feeling hungry or got a bit of hangover, the full English breakfast was amazing. It had everything that it should have. The meats were excellent and it really hit the spot. From the lighter side menu is the avocado toast which wasn't so light. Add some smoked salmon and it is the bomb! This was a hearty open faced sandwich that was healthy and filling at the same time. Very elegantly plated and of course tasty. Had the charcoal chai and it was just amazing. The color and presentation of this drink was absolutely lovely. With the sweet herbs and spices added on top, finished it into a very exotic yet very enjoyable morning drink. We will defiantly eat here again on our next visit and do recommend it as a must if you looking for great places to eat.

  • Just had brunch here. Was told 20 minute wait for table and then 1/2hr wait for food. We agreed as I was looking forward to eating here for a few years. I especially wanted the English breakfast It took over an hour after we ordered to receive our entrees. They had obviously forgotten to put the order in as the waitress came around and was very surprised and offered refills (not on screwdriver, sadly) then came around again and said she had to go check. My partner's Breakfast Hash was what we were told we were waiting on despite the cheese being congealed and the brisket being dry and cold. The egg was good she reported. My Traditional English Breakfast was only ok, the blood pudding was cut rather thin and were unflavored. Anyway I was really looking forward to this meal and terribly disappointed all around . August 2019.

  • I have been to this location a couple times and both times the meals were outstandingly delicious! Service is fast and polite the location is great not too far out from pioneer square with makes for a great walk back after a full stomach. The menu is fairly priced which means we will keep on coming back

  • I had the avocado toast and added salmon. It was delicious. The avocado was tangier and more limey than I would have liked. But it didn’t ruin the meal. Their iced chai is very delicious. It would be great if they offered a sweet and spicy chai. I’ve been here before and had their classic English breakfast and it was very delicious too. I like how the meal made me feel not heavy. Would recommend. I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. I come here vs other breakfast places because although it’s a hipster place, it had a more intimate and airy feel to it. Thanks guys!

  • I left here elated. Chris took wonderful care of us from the moment we walked in the door. He even brought us a sample of the brisket, which was amazing. All of our meals were brought out very quickly. I had the best chicken and waffles on the West Coast. My husband had delicious biscuits and gravy made with a stout, and my roommate had a scrumptious traditional English breakfast. We all had leftovers that we're looking forward to. We're planning to become regulars here!
