This waterfall is a part of Tanner Creek, a tributary of the Columbia River in the Columbia River Gorge. The access is from Bonneville. The hike to the waterfalls is not only great for beginners but it is also one of the most popular hikes among tourists to Portland. However first-time visitors should be careful not to end up heading into the wrong trail. That is a common mistake. Look carefully at the signs. You will find the trailhead close to the Bonneville Dam and Fish Hatchery, and the Tooth Rock Trailhead. The waterfall itself is an extremely picturesque sight. The waterfall is known for the fact that rainy weather does not affect its rate of flow because the source of its water is from under the ground.

  • READ THIS*** there is a misleading post from a month ago about this set of trails, its closed as of 5/26/19. At least a dozen other cars pulled up while we debated going around all the fencing and they were all equally irritated, likely having seen the beautiful pictures from a month ago. We are very eager to go on this little hike but unless you risk getting fined its not open...

  • Beautiful, fairly easy hike. The waterfall at the end is well worth your time. Everything here is so green and the journey is almost as good as the reward.

  • There are no directions to get there.... A parking direction would be nice then i could find my way to the waterfall

  • Nice place to visit with family.

  • This is one of my favorite waterfalls in the entire Gorge. The 2 mile round trip hike keeps the casual tourists away so it is less crowded than many other stops. The waterfall is absolutely amazing.
