The best way to see Porto. Our guide was knowledgeable with a witty sense of humour. Take some cash as you'll be inspired to leave a big tip!
I did the walking tour with Ana and she was lovely and gave us lots of great information! It was good fun and she had many good recommendations and we were also able to get some delicious chocolate cake at the end!
We arrived from the States with a minute to spare for the 10.45 am free walking tour - we had booked online ahead of time. It started slowly with everyone introducing themselves but after grabbing coffee to go in the rail station while Pedro spoke it was just terrific even after a night without sleep. Pedro gave us asides and comments that were even more interesting than the history, his enthusiasm and sense of humor had us all giving him a standing ovation, even without the chocolate cake. After the tour, he took time to help several of us with our onward plans. We wished that we had had time to take the different 3.30 tour. I hope everyone left generous tips on this free tour, well worth it.!
Amazing tour with a very entertaining guide! I feel like we learned a lot about Porto. (we did the afternoon free walking tour)
Had the afternoon (3:30 PM) free walking tour with Pedro. The tour was excellent, Pedro's thorough knowledge as well as his personal observations contributed a lot to the tour.
