The San Giorgio Church or the Chiesa San Giorgio is easily the most prominent church of Portofino. It is a Catholic Church and has gathered a lot of followers ever since its inception. It is believed that this church was built in the year 1154 and the architecture is that of Romanesque style. Although, a reconstruction had to be done after the Second World War, but even then a small chapel was found. The church is dedicated to St George, who was the patron of Portofino and is definitely worth praying at.
