Located to the south-east of Majorca, close to the town of Santanyi, Mondrago Natural Park is a gorgeous spot to enjoy the bounty of nature. Earlier just a vast green space, this was declared as a Nature Park in the year 1992 and soon a tourist resort was established in the area. The park covers an area of 785 hectares out of which 95 hectares are public. The park was established in order to preserve the flora of the area. The lush terrains with clear waters and an abundance of birdlife make this place look extremely picturesque. From amphibians and mammals to birds and reptiles, you can witness a wide variety of wildlife inside the park.

  • Gorgeous beach! There’s a big parking lot (5 euro for cars) closer to the beach but you can park on the street nearby for free (recommended.) though the walk down to the beach is a bit far, the road is flat and when you arrive there is a food stand and umbrellas for rent etc. beach itself is very pretty, white sand and calm water.

  • A beautiful place to come for an easy walk on top of the cliff overlooking the beach. It's 10-15min to the beach. We had 1.5yrs old boy and we were able to bring stroller with us. Very beautiful and great to come with kids. Large parking lot with lots of shade parking. We came in afternoon and it was only 2euros to park

  • Extremely beautiful landscape and very peaceful and quiet. I went for a mixture of hiking trails and afternoons spent swimming in the small coves which are thankfully a little removed from the main touristic areas and don't see the same crowds or tourist trap shops. There are still relatively few resorts in the area which is more of a nature preserve so if it's time in nature you want, then this is well worth the visit. There are some fantastic looking caves and rock faces that I didn't explore but found great info about online. I plan to come back and spend time in them. For nature, hiking and climbing enthusiasts, this reserve is really a beautiful place to visit.

  • Visited the beach here today, what a beautiful place! The beach itself is sandy with boardwalks for easy access. There's also a large bar area which was very efficient and friendly. The only downside was the dirtiness of the water when you first enter, such as cigarettes and litter. If you go a bit deeper though, the water is crystal clear. Overall, a good day out.

  • One of the best beaches we ever been! Definitely worth going there, just you will need to pay for car park 5euro. And then walk to first beach around 10-15 minutes. Worth taking longer route for sighting!
