Worthwhile to visit if you are driving around. It costs only 5 euro, despite the "tour" itself is rather short, 15 minutes boat visit in the middle of the small underground lagoon. The views are spectacular.
We had the misfortune of arriving when a tour bus arrived. They crammed about 24 people into a very small boat. While the site was beautiful it wasn't worth the time or the money.
Do not go to this place. It is a waste of money. They took us on a tour of the grotto which was less than 5 minutes and asked us for tip 4 times during that time. Not very impressive either. Take the 10 euro entrance fee and go across the street and get a ceramic souvenir instead.
Lovely quick tour only 5 €. The guide was animated & passionate when describing the history
This is a beautiful place that I've been to several times now (bringing friends and family). The tours have gotten shorter over the years, with less explanation and a request for a tip after a high entrance fee (for what you get) is completely inappropriate.
