The Sanssouci Park offers a peace of heaven with stunning landscaped gardens, a gorgeous central fountain and romantic pathways that hug the trimmed trees and shrubs.

The view of the Palace compliments the park’s 200-year old history and small additions of sculptures, neo-classical influences and architecture of the palace, heighten the experience. During the ‘Night of the Palace’ festival, the whole park recreates the romantic 18th century Baroque era. On any normal day, it is just as enchanting!

  • Magnificent place to visit. Been here before towards end of winter. This time in Autumn and you can wonder around without running into a hoard of other tourists.

  • If you are in Berlin it will take you only 45 min to get to the Sanssouci Park by S7 local line. Be sure to get there! Just amazing place. Very nice park and museums. You can rent a bike right at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. Plan at least 4-5 hours for the tour. You will be able to make both New Palace and Sanssouci palace tours. Usually we cycle to New palace, getting the tickets there for both places and after ending tour with Sanssouci. Once you are there, explore Potsdam old city with it small nice streets, shops and cafes.

  • This is one of the country perl, a beautiful and magic place with counsels and parks. The parks are amazing and very well maintained. Easy to walk and visit. The place is prepared for handicaps and old people and have parkings near the entrances making it easy to have a access and define the walking distances. I very much recommend and enjoy one of the nicest places in Germany with only 40 minutes from Berlin.

  • Very beautiful and large park. 2 euro recommended donation at will. There's toilets near ticketing office for the palace. Not sure if it's free.

  • Beautiful and gorgeous palaces, museums, and gardens. Personally, being able to see a kitchen at Sanssouci Palace was quite interesting. It is less than 1 hour away from central Berlin, and I am glad I was able to visit. It was definitely worth the time.
