Valentine Mountain offers some of the best views of the Powell River area. The Valentine Mountain Trail is located behind the cemetery in the Cranberry district and is one of the major attractions in the area. A popular hike with the locals, this trail is easy and quick. From the top, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Townsite, The Mill, The Hulks, lakes, ocean, and the mountains. To the east, you can see Cranberry and Mowat Bay and to the north, you can see Powell Lake Marina and Scout Mountain.
