Chronicling the rise and cultural icon that is Apple, this museum showcases the monumental story of how Apple went from being a start up (Funded mostly by Wozniak selling his HP-65 calculator) to being the tech giant it is today. Detailing each stage of the companies developments, included archival footage and the first prototype of the iPhone. This museum is an intriguing snapshot of the history of devices designed by Apple.
Great place for Apple’s fans. Really huge collection of rear computers. You can even try the original Macintosh. Don’t forget to see paintings in the underfloor.
Nice museum, very premium but a bit too expensive for an average visitor. And it is just a showdown of all the Apple products. If you like Steve and Apple, you should check it out
The Apple Museum is a very nice and interesting place to go if you find yourself nearby. It is a unique private collection of almost all Apple computers from 1976 to 2012 (I would have appreciated it even more if it had been updated in the last years, even though the latest Apple's products haven't been neither designed nor conceived by Steve Jobs). The museum provides an extremely accurated online guide, which will tell you the most important informations about every device shown in the exhibit. It's not really focused on the hardware/software details, but mostly on the commercial outcomes of each products and the impact it had on the world of technology and society itself. The museum itself reflects Apple's main values: simplicity, genius and beauty. I would definitely recommend the visit - it is not Prague's cheapest museum (although I wouldn't call it expensive in relation to Western Europe prices), but it is absolutely worth it. Besides, all incomes are donated to charity, which is an additional reason to spend some time here!
