Church of our Lady victorious is the home to the statue of Infant Jesus. The Church of Our Lady Victorious is a 16th century church that is an important pilgrimage to Catholics around the world. Although it houses Infant Jesus but various times, the two are considered to be two completely different attractions. Lot of people come here for the church as well as for the Jesus too. Arguably the first baroque church in Prague, this was initially built for German Lutherans. Folklore has it that the Infant Jesus of Prague (also known as Il Bambino di Praga) has miraculous healing powers and that it has been the protector of Prague against calamities like plague and war.
The church now contains an exhibition of the presents that the Infant of Jesus was given along the centuries from history’s most famous personalities. The exhibition is comprised of about 80 different outfits.

Us Irish are obsessed with the weather and having a sunny day and use the Child of Prague statue to ensure a fine day, it was brilliant to be able to see the original statue, I was delighted with the chance. The church was lovely. I got all the info I needed, I left petitions and bought some souvenirs, it wasn't expensive. I was very happy with the while experience
Great place for adults and kids. Free entry to the church and museum. The statue of infant of Prague has a bigger wardrobe than my wife! There are some outfits dating back more than 300 years!
I'll admit it: this was a very personal must-visit since my Mum is a miraculized by Infant Jesus of Prague. We took a super nice walk from our hotel place – Royal Court Hotel, highly recommended, as well – till the site of Saint Mary Victorious’ Church. It was a really pleasant sunny morning of our first day in Prague, during winter time to be more precise. Not only we enjoyed the walk because we saw the little precious round and about of Prague, but also, we enjoyed the beautiful Church nestled almost in a hidden place – although not far away from the center – in beautiful Prague. It was really moving to watch my mum enter the House of that Little Precious Holy Baby who saved her life when she was a tiny, little girl. When you enter the Church, the Holy Infant is on the right side of the aisle just few steps before the altar. The statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague is quite small, but after a while I understood something that let me appreciate it even more: it was precious as He is. Also, it’s a moving spectacle because you get to see and to know all the other stories and miracles of people who received his grace; in fact there are marble squares and rectangles which cover almost every part of the right side of the Church in remembrance of those graces. It was…HOLY!
A great experience...so much history by the infant baby Jesus....it was a great experience and a true blessing to see such a wonderful place
Pretty impressive church with an interesting theme. It's completely free to enter and even see the exhibition part.
