Church of our Lady victorious is the home to the statue of Infant Jesus. The Church of Our Lady Victorious is a 16th century church that is an important pilgrimage to Catholics around the world. Although it houses Infant Jesus but various times, the two are considered to be two completely different attractions. Lot of people come here for the church as well as for the Jesus too. Arguably the first baroque church in Prague, this was initially built for German Lutherans. Folklore has it that the Infant Jesus of Prague (also known as Il Bambino di Praga) has miraculous healing powers and that it has been the protector of Prague against calamities like plague and war.

The church now contains an exhibition of the presents that the Infant of Jesus was given along the centuries from history’s most famous personalities. The exhibition is comprised of about 80 different outfits.

  • This beautiful place helps to calm you down if you take a moment to enjoy it in peace. You can sit down quietly or you can join other visitors and take some pictures. Don't forget to visit two other places within this church: a small museum and a wonderful gift shop.

  • We had a fun touristy experience at the church. There were tourists queued to go in and out of the church and for non natives there was service in English. Was very decorated and a bunch of happy people walked off after every service. Please visit here when in Prague our paid whole day exclusive tour took us there ....

  • Us Irish are obsessed with the weather and having a sunny day and use the Child of Prague statue to ensure a fine day, it was brilliant to be able to see the original statue, I was delighted with the chance. The church was lovely. I got all the info I needed, I left petitions and bought some souvenirs, it wasn't expensive. I was very happy with the while experience

  • Original statue of Infant Jesus is present here. Must visit to the museum. Great interior. Holy place.

  • The church has a museum on the upper floor, containing clothes, crowns and gifts donated to the Jesus of prague. Downstairs you will find a small souvenir shop on the ground level and of course, the Jesus of Prague. Jesus doll is just that, a small sized doll, however the church is worth visiting if you want to see the Jesus doll
