The KGB basically stands for the Committee for State Security and was the initial name of the primary Soviet secret service. Visitors can get to experience a lot of historical recreations here. You can have hands on feel of the objects and methods used by the higher functionaries in the Soviet Union back in the day. There are some unusual exhibits, such as Lenin's death mask, the gun that killed Trotsky, the radio from Beria's office, and KGB laboratory facilities. The tours are guided and accompanied by a thoroughly well informed guide who will have a lot of information to give to you.

Run by an eccentric by enthusiastic Russian. Has amazing and detailed knowledge of Russian history and a wide range of guns/weapons from KGB. The talk is more about the weapons than the KGB but due to the owners eccentricities is very enjoyable none the less.
Lovely place, great info about history and weapons. The owner was a great guide! Very good!! Best place we have visited un Prague so far.
Zero time on KGB activities in Prague, ten percent on KGB tools of the trade. Should be called "all the (soviet/kgb) weapons I love, and how I'd use them." Great mime performances of assassin and victim, otherwise not much to this.
The owner is extremely animated and seeing his passion is worth the visit alone. Lots of small pieces in his collection; I would have liked to been able to stay a bit longer to admire the items a little longer. He really knows how to help you get a good photo!
Absolutely amazing experience . Guide is eccentric but definitely adds to the experience. Would definitely recommend
