The Karolinum - Arkyrova Kaple was once a dominating palace of the Old Town before being secured by Wenceslas IV as the part of the Charles University to use as dormitory. From the traditional exhibitions to official gatherings, from Matriculation to Graduation ceremonies, the venue offers a classy setup for any commencement. With a Barque appearance, the Aula Magna or the interior space looks historical. The Karolinum - Arkyrova Kaple also hosts various contemporary art exhibitions at the Cloisters. There is also a Bay chapel built adjacent to the Aula Magna in a Gothic style, the altar of which is quite noteworthy.
