My first experience of having Czech food. It's a super big food hall with loads of tables but it's very full when I reached. Basically just go in and try to find your own seat. Food was ordered and it arrived really quickly. Flavour is really nice and I finished everything. All you can eat bread dumpling!
Food was good and affordable. Service was however very poor. The waitresses pretty much IGNORE you. I literally shouted out hello hello hello to a waitress walking past, even the people on the other side of the restaurant could hear me, but she chose to look away to the other side. The more I leaned forwards to get her attention the faster she walked and the quicker her head turned. Well done. Girl with hair dyed hair, relatively short, tattoo on her right forearm. How I wish I recorded that incident. You will feel so humiliated you will never want to step into that place ever. She should reconsider working there
Decent Czech lunch, the food is local, as the restaurant name suggests, and is mainly composed of a rough part of meat and sauce. The sides are either bread or potatoes that kind of fill your stomach up. The beers are really cheap (cheaper than water as I recall). It's a huge restaurants with plenty of tables, hence it might explain the rush and lateness of the waiters. Still, worth the shot if you wanna try local food!
Amazing place to drink Beer and eat! Great service and enjoyed all foods we ordered of course beer too!!! Also very good prices and after 10 or 11 pm they serve only some kind of foods.
Really great place to have a beer and a decent, traditional Czech food. It is very affordable despite quite central location. It gets very busy on the evenings. If you go there after 7pm it is good idea to book table I'm advance. Very friendly and attentive staff, English speaking also. Great ambiance and amazing tasting beer.
