  • This place is seriously awesome. I had braised beef with patato onion dumplings and it was totally awesome. Can't think of a reason for it to be less than 5 stars. Nice local atmosphere, staff is very nice, smiling and serving fast. They make you feel at home. Must go!!!

  • Amazing typical food, great prices. The tartar is just the best you will have in Prague! It comes with fried amazing bread! Really next level. We had about 7 different dishes and they all were GOOD! I have to strongly recommend the place

  • We had to wait half an hour to be seated because the place was so busy. Fortunately, as you wait by the bar waiting to be seated they will offer you a free beer for the wait. The food is relatively cheap, the side dishes are separate, service is quite quick once you've been seated. However the food is quite good, but not excellent. I had the goulash with potato dumplings, the sauce was wonderfully flavourful but it was more than the quantity of the beef, which to my taste was overcooked. Of course the beer is always excellent

  • Best food we've had in Prague so far. Highly recommend the duck breast and fried cheese plates. Also order a mix of the two beers (black and tan) It's a busy place and you may have to wait without a reservation but it's worth it.

  • This is something for the "locality tourist". Place for tourists also, but not in a "robber-mode". A huge pub-restaurant with modest food prices, good beer varieties, and full house even in 3 pm on a weekday. Staff is a bit stressed by the heavy traffic, but service time is fair. A good option for the old town.
