The Palác Lucerna was established in 1921 as an iconic entertainment and dining joint which is equipped with shops, restaurants, music club and a theatre. Designed by Vasclav Havel, the palace is constructed with concrete and is regarded as the first multipurpose building in the region when its construction started in the starting of 20th century. The Palác Lucerna building has many levels dedicated to bars, coffee shops, eateries, shop complex but the most distinct among them are the former concert venue of Lucerna Theatre and the Lucerna Music Bar where the Vaclav Havel Tribute Concert and Prague International Jazz Festival is hosted. This open-air galleria also acts as a private cultural center.
