The Palác Lucerna was established in 1921 as an iconic entertainment and dining joint which is equipped with shops, restaurants, music club and a theatre. Designed by Vasclav Havel, the palace is constructed with concrete and is regarded as the first multipurpose building in the region when its construction started in the starting of 20th century. The Palác Lucerna building has many levels dedicated to bars, coffee shops, eateries, shop complex but the most distinct among them are the former concert venue of Lucerna Theatre and the Lucerna Music Bar where the Vaclav Havel Tribute Concert and Prague International Jazz Festival is hosted. This open-air galleria also acts as a private cultural center.

Palac Lucerna Reviews & Ratings
I remember great performance of Karel Gott and Dean Reed (somehow the most people in USA don't have a clue about his achievements), in late 1970-ties. Beautiful interior, great acoustic, splendid atmosphere. This was big during the communist era. Marvelous place to be and disengage from the grey reality of that shady years.
Great place! We were in the great hall for a concert It feels like you're back in a former time! Beer is cheap, 50Kc for 0.5L Pilsner. Water cost more than beer! Too few toilets though, best if you don't need to go as a woman! Acoustics were alright, the air was used up after the concert but this is standard as I came to know it!
Lucerna has a wonderful theater, artgallery and club. It also hosts dance schools and other small secrets !
This building has a huge variety of spaces inside. Three music club, the big Hall for balls and proms. The ball Hall is where we went. It's huge and beautiful and classic. But it hasn't changed since my high school, the air was terrible there, huge prices for the beer...
Not your average venue. 4 flights beneath street level. Underneath a small shopping arcade. The auditorium has a great sound and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
