  • Lots of history and significance to this monument. Easy to find and enjoy while in the main square - make sure to google it or ask your walking guide about it as it is an important part of Pragues history. Hard to miss, and worth a stop.

  • I have to admit I haven't ever noticed this statue before looking it up on Google Maps despite my endless visits to Old Town Square. This time I tried to admire it and I have to say I feel like I've missed out before. It's a pretty nice statue. Bigger than your usual one, but it's surrounded by a tiny fence so it makes it look bigger. It's a decent sight, but I can't say I'd call it "majestic" to bee honest.

  • The Council of Constance of 1414 was called by antipope John XXIII under the instructions of the Emperor of The Holy Roman, Sigismund. The Great Schism and the squabbling it entailed greatly lowered the prestige of the papacy. The execution of Jan Hus on the ground of heresy sparked the Hussite Wars that engulfed much if central Europe for two decades. The Hussite Church survived in Czech today.

  • This is a very large and moving statue of Jan Hus. Spend some time admiring it. Jan Hus was amazing person and he deserves a great statue.

  • Awesome Vistas and views, however just see places and move on. Very high priced food, as compared to rest of Prague. Lots and lots tourists traps.
