Prague Castle, Prague Reviews
Okay first of all, we did not take a guided tour of the palace but just roamed around on our own. So this review is based on that experience. 1. The place is huge. As in there are a lot of buildings around the castle as well. All well carved and really beautiful to watch. 2. The biggest disappointment I faced in my life was when I was searching for the castle when I was right in front of it.. the whole frontal is under repair or some construction work. We were not able to see any of the good parts of the castle from the outside. 3. We had already visited 2 castles due to which we did not go inside this one. I'm sure it must be great but I didn't have to patience after seeing more than half the castle being covered for the construction work. 4. The other places around the palace are also good.. the botanical garden also gives a great view of the old town. It's absolutely stunning and beautiful. All in all, the castle being under some work did not lessen our spirit of sightseeing.. it was all amazing and beautiful, hence 4 stars..
Very beautiful and old architecture. In the middle you can find a church and it is surrounded by houses and walls. Also it is the residence of the Czech president, so there is a lot of military presence, which is quite helpful because they know the place well! Furthermore, you can get there by tram and don't have to climb the hill on which the castle is located, if you don't feel like it and there are some food shops in near proximity to the castle. Personally, I think the Prague Castle is the best attraction to visit, when in Prague.
If you don't visit the castle your trip to Prague is a waste. There are 3 different kinds of entry tickets to choose from if I remember correctly, to visit different sites inside the castle. Reserve a whole day and be prepared to walk to enjoy the castle. It can be reached by the trams easily from the city. You can also take a scenic walk from old Town square through Charles bridge.
Prague Castle is one of Prague's most famous attractions. It is a must to go. You can walk up slowly from Karlshør. Taxis, buses and Old Car tours are also available. You can visit Prague Castle around Prague Castle. Starbucks is also nearby. Most visited and many people. Both day and night are beautiful. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the city slowly. There are various shops on the way. There are many wonderful souvenirs. If you visit Prague, you must visit here. I recommend it.
The castle during the day is impressive. There are lots of exhibitions and palaces to see and the cathedral is truly impressive. The golden lanes are also a must with the largest collection of arms and armour I've ever seen. The rebuild cottages showing what it would have looked like are amazing. We could gave spent more than one day there if we'd had the time. A good reason to return to Prague on it's own.
