Probably The largest castle in the world and famous for it's impressive castle complex. This is situated in the ancient-most part in Prague and sould be preached through stoned path. This castle was more than 1200 years old, though many parts were constructed in modern times. This medieval castle's main attraction is St. Vita's Cathedral. This church is the largest in Czech and one of the most Popular places amongst visitors in the country. The Gothic architecture of this castle complex and Royal palace are surely eye catching. St. Basilica church is placed behind the former church and this red colored church is the oldest in the country. There's a cafeteria area inside this complex. Many concerts specially in Christmas time, are quite familiar events in castle complex. In front of the complex you will be checked thoroughly by the Czech guards and electronic scanners. Entry is free and one can easily spend half of day only by touring this castle ground. Change of guards is also a thing to watch.
Not an actual castle in the sense most imagine, rather lots of beautiful buildings all together. The highlight for me was the cathedral which is a bit of a "can't miss". There's a few different ticket options that gets you into various parts, personally I think the cheaper options would be fine if you prefer to wander the outside and just do the cathedral as for me these were the highlights.
It's a place you don't only get the beautiful architectures but also a great outlook of Prague. A pair of comfy shoes is recommended when taking all the walks up and down. You may get to see a small march if you are lucky. - Just remember step out of their ways.
Prague castle it a wonderful place with bags of history. It has good access with ramps for wheelchair users. It does, as you can expect get crowded, but saying that you can still move quite freely.
Best view of the city... So historical that you can enjoy every stone in it... Magical place to see all over Prague... Wait till the o'clock switch of the guards each hour.... Have the garden walk... Don't forget the Saint Vitus Cathedral... Enjoy your time under the trees in the south garden....
