Prague Castle, Prague Reviews - Write a Review

  • The view from top is simply breath taking and worth the walk up to the top, there are 2 ways to the castle one less strenuous and other is a step climb which is very steep. The less strenuous one is through the park which in itself is really beautiful. There was also wine fest happening next to palace and that was great too. Only problem I felt was not much inside the palace to wow us.

  • Nice touristic and historic place which I recommend visiting. It's reachable by foot but it goes uphill quite a bit so not suited for everybody. Very beatiful old church in the middle, especially on the inside. Don't forget to check out the gargoyles on the outside!!

  • Gorgeous, especially the cathedral. Great displays of many aspects of medieval/ baroque era life and art. It's probably always busy, but pretty well organized, so lines to get in and get tickets move quickly. If you're in Prague, this is the one thing you absolutely must see... kinda a no-brainer.

  • Huge castle district with the beautiful St. Vitus cathedral and art work from the medieval age. The panoramic view of Prague(including the old town & Charles bridge) from the top is amazing. Changing of guards is a must watch!

  • Biggest castle complex in Europe and also the residence of Czech president. There is nice view on old town from here. For sure must go if you are in Prague. On the way there you can walk through Charles bridge, medieval construction with lot of statues and one of most famous bridges in the world.
