  • A must-see in Prague. I recommend the relatively short walk up from the train station. The pedestrian way leading the the castle is fantastic with many musicians playing different styles along the way very close to each other and yet it isn't a bitter soup of unrelated sounds... Make sure climb worthwhile. As expected l? Great views over the city up there...

  • A big castle, very nice, the seat of the Czech president. You can buy tickets for tours in the information center without much waiting. If you make your way here, definitely be sure to check out the Cathedral of St. Virus and the Golden Lane as well as the gardens. They are definitely worth it. In summer, there's a festival of Shakespearean plays for which you can buy cheap tickets online. Nice thing to do!

  • Interesting place. You can see quite a lot without a ticket - the view from the hill over Prague is amazing and you can walk through the courtyards for free, you just need a ticket for the individual buildings. We paid for the shortest visit ticket I think (there was no queue for tickets) , which was great value at just under 4 euro 50 each for a student ticket. We saw the cathedral and castle, but my favourite was the golden lane. Really cute houses set up traditionally, including Franz Kafka's house.

  • Very beautiful place to visit. Yes it is crowded with tourists, but .... If you like museums then you should take a full ticket. In order not to stand in long queues for ticket there are several tourist information offices (like next to each other), so you should try those. If you don't want to visit museums, then you are OK without a ticket. The inner part of palace is available for free. You can visit the Church without a ticket, but you will not be able to see all the beauty without a ticket. Take water with you and plan almost a half of a day for visiting castle. On all entrances to the castle there are security with a metal detectors, don't stress about it. They are just checking for weapons.

  • This is one of my favourite spots in Prague. The castle is huge, you should definitely visit the cathedral, the palace and the garden. The castle also offers a very beautiful view of Prague. Be aware that the place is quite crowded with tourists but it was totally worth it. And [lease don't try trdelnik at the castle entrance...
