Sharlot Hall Museum was established in order to safeguard the history and culture of Arizona’s Central Highlands. This impressive and interactive museum was opened in 1928 and was called Old Governor's Mansion Museum at the beginning. Old Governor’s Mansion is also listed as a National Heritage Building. Located over an area of 4 acres, Sharlot Hall Museum features numerous historical structures and exhibits some of which have pre-historic items as well. In addition to this, Sharlot Hall Museum has a library with a number of archives on display.
