Old Harbor Life-saving Station Museum

4.7 Currently Open

Built in 1897, Old Harbor Life-Saving Station Museum is nestled at the race point beach and is a prominent maritime museum and rescue station. The museum is open to the public daily during the summer season and the park rangers organize a live demonstration enacting the weekly exercise used by the Sailing service of the United States called "Beach Apparatus Drill". These breeches buoy demonstrations take place on Thursdays in summer and add to the overall experience at the museum.
