Mount Cook Alpine Salmon, Pukaki Reviews
One of the lovely relaxing retreat resort, walking distance to good shopping area. Big comfortable rooms have beautiful view of natural surrounding & have good variety of food & drinks.. relaxing night clear sky view all free of cost is highlight point.
$35 for 500g of fresh sashimi is a good deal. Staff was helpful during our visit. If you need to takeaway, they provide ice packs to keep it fresh as you drive back. Would have rated it 5 stars if they didn't charge extra for soy sauce and wasabi. The amount of soy sauce provided by them just isn't enough for 500g of sashimi we purchased. Its a shame really.
Nothing here but salmon... Salmon was great, but plan to cook the salmon yourself or eat it raw/smoked. Amazing prices, amazing views.
Always going to love this place as I like fishing for salmon but if you do not like fishing. Great place for sushi buy lunch or even buy a whole salmon to takeway you can feed the salmon here
I don't normally eat salmon, but it tasted really good here. It would be better if they had variety like sandwiches, etc. Spectacular view of Mt Cook of course.
