Best Time To Visit Pune
The best time to visit Pune is November to February.
Unlike many other metropolitan cities, this has a very tolerant, pleasant weather – making Pune city tours a lot more bearable than most Indian cities tend to be. It has three main seasons: Summer, monsoon and winter. Although monsoon can be harsh sometimes, the city has a constant climate all around the year and doesn’t trouble a tourist with its whims.
- Summer (March end - June): Even though days can get hot, they aren’t dry. Nights are usually not that hot and are pleasant. The temperature ranges between 22 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius.
- Monsoon (June end - mid-September): Monsoon is wet and heavy in Pune and lasts from June end to mid-September. It can continuously rain for days here. Always carry an Umbrella or a raincoat with you in Monsoons.
- Winter (November - February): Winter isn’t extreme in this city either. It gets prickly cold at times but the temperature doesn’t decrease more than 5-8 degrees Celsius.. Lot of cultural and artistic festivals happen during this time. Especially for music lovers, this is the time when you have to visit this fabulous city!
