  • One of the best places I’ve been to. Definitely a must! If you like clubs - go. If you like shows - go! If you want to do anything involving a good time - definitely go! You won’t be disappointed. Definitely upgrade to VIP if you don’t like crowds though.

  • Phenomenal show. I had no idea what I was getting into beforehand and was taken aback by the breath of pop culture they borrow from, in a good way. From Star Wars to Madonna, the Coco Bongo show has it all. The drinks are great and it's an open bar, so you can drink as much as you like. The space is kinda cramped tho, and moving around can be an issue.

  • I had called for bottle service and the lady confirmed it was unlimited bottles for my group. When I got in , they told me it was open bar. I could live with the open bar but I caught them watering down the liquor. I had asked the bartender to drink one of my drinks and he confirmed that it was watered down. There is good energy but you need to be careful if they think they can take advantage of you , the waiter will serve you water with a touch of liquor..... I felt disgusted as soon as I caught them in the act.

  • One of the best nights out I've ever had and certainly the best night club I've ever been to. We didn't end up getting VIP and were still happy although it's a little crowded. This was the highlight of my trip to Punta Cana! It's an experience, I can't say more than that as words and pictures don't do this place justice. It's something everyone should get to experience.

  • THERE ARE CAMERAS IN THE BATHROOM STALLS OF COCO BONGO PUNTA CANA!! They do this as a way to "catch" people doing drugs in the club. My friend was hauled out by multiple bouncers who accused him of using in the stall. However, they did not find any drugs on my friend or in the bathroom stall. Plus they ripped him off the toilet before he could even flush it. Outside of the club my friend explained to me that no one offered him drugs that night. He simply went into the stall, sat down, leaned forward to wipe his brow and remove his hat (it was hot in the club). A minute later a bouncer grabbed him by the collar (over the stall) as his other co-workers banged on the door. When I went to complain to the staff I noticed from a distance a man with an IPad showing an employee I had been speaking to pictures of my friend sitting in the stall! They were only side shoots of him sitting in the stall... definitely not doing drugs! I have known this guy for 2 years and he doesn't use...and like he said to me, "If I wanted to use drugs the last place I'd do it would be in the bathroom stall of a club in a foreign country!" I waited for a manager to come out and speak with me. He told me "somebody saw him" using drugs. When I asked "who?" I recieved the same response. This manager was holding a cell phone and he didn't realize I could see that he too had images of my friend in the stall (like the guy with the IPad). As we were making our complaints my friend saw the bouncers laughing and making kissy faces at us. After speaking to several employees it was clear they didn't believe us or care. I didn't want to press the issue too far as they had previously threatened to call the police (pretty scary when you are not in your home country). The show itself was great and the performers were awesome. The Staff and bouncers however are a bunch of bullies. I have read other reviews of Coco Bongo since coming home and have heard other accounts of bouncers manhandling others and even robbing them. I'm on the fence about recommending this show given our sour experience. Like I said the actual performance was amazing. Avoid the bathrooms if possible!!
