Situated on the south west of Puri, Chilika Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most visited wildlife sanctuaries in Odisha. It is home to number of migratory and birds, like Flamingo and Barheaded Goose. It is also home to Golden Jackals, Spotted Dear, and Hyenas etc. The park also houses aquatic wildlife and is home to Dolphins, Prawns, Crabs, Limbless Lizards, and Crustaceans. Apart from the wild life, visitors can also experience the sunrise and sunset in the park.
