This religious place is dedicated to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Legend says that it was Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who started preaching people about Lord Krishna and his teaching. He was also said to be the founder of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. There is a small temple is the premise where you can khadaun (slippers), kamandal and walking stick of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu that he used during his journey to Puri.
Take a tour of the entire premise and you will come across many statues depicting scenes from Ramayana. The walls have inscriptions describing the stories related to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Move around and read those inscriptions to understand Vaishnavism.
