The Pioneer Park is another great public park in Puyallup. It features many facilities including benches, a parking lot, picnic tables, playground, spray park, a Veteran’s Memorial, and restrooms. A statue of Ezra Meeker- a pioneer citizen can also be seen in the park. Kids have a great time at the Kiwanis Kids Spray park inside the Pioneer Park. The park is also home to the large Pioneer Park Pavilion which can be rented to host shows and parties. You may even attend the Puyallup Farmers Market held in the park during the months of spring and summer.
Pioneer Park Reviews & Ratings
Love this park! Wish the splash pad had a gate in between the fences on the street side so littles can't run directly into on coming traffic when they run from their parents. Other than that, super fun!
A great place to hang out! I especially love the concerts the do over the summer, I was able to see a Beatles tribute and a few other bands and it was great. I just recommend getting there early because it usually gets pretty packed and the acoustics in the back are not the best. Also if it's raining and you see them setting up in the building, leave unless you really want to see the band, everything sounds awful in that room. Otherwise go see as many bands as possible!
The spray park is amazing! Great place for kids to play in front of the library is a very large water park suitable for young children. They also have a great climbing play area also. Lots of green and shade to picnic in, and the restrooms are always fairly clean at least the woman's.
Big open space. Beautiful flowers. Center of town. Great place for kids or a quieter spot to read or think. Very well taken care of.
Went here to play some Pokemon Go and it ended up being the perfect place for it. There were two raids going on in the park and there were enough other people there playing that we were able to win the both.
