The Queanbeyan Riverside Tourist Park is located right on the banks of the splendid Queanbeyan River and offers striking views that would leave you impressed. The park offers shaded sites, ensuite cabins that can accommodate about five people, and is capable of catering to the requirements of motorhomes, caravans, and the campers. There’s also other amenities like laundry block along with a BBQ area. The park has been able to retain that small town charm even though it’s situated just about 20 minutes from the city. • To start off with the good, it is a nice location with great access to nearby services, quiet despite the road next to it and easy to get in and out of with larger vehicles. This said, it is only good if you plan to camp in a tent or caravan. Do not rent the cabins or linen. I made the mistake of doing both. The floor was dirty, bed damaged and the 'clean' bedsheets I hired for an additional charge smelled disgustingly of sweat and bacon. In the end I slept on the floor, at which point I might as well have camped outside.

  • Really bad experience at this park. ... vans were squashed 2 per site.. and our 2 expensive bikes were stolen whilst locked outside our van during the night. And someone else's bike cut off the back of his van and stolen (same night). Talking to park residents, things being stolen is not rare!! Definitely would not go back!! Receptionist in office acted like it had never happened before but i beg to differ!

  • Great spot very close to main street and club, back again, still great,

  • Place is apparently closing soon for renovation. Amenities ok, location right in town which is handy. Manager helpful. Thefts occured of items not welded down, bikes and canoes, but the place has no control over local ferals, which all towns have. It served a purpose while we explored the region. No camp kitchen, but this may be remedied after a refit. Overall, we survived ok.

  • The location is good for the shops and fast food restaurants. They allow dogs. The entrance is not gated and you are opposite the bus station. The place could use a bit more money spent on it so all the sites had concrete and the maintenance improved
