Casino De Montreal, Quebec Reviews
I went to the casino to celebrate my 18th birthday. I had a great night! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere inside is great! I had a blast playing slot machines! I can't wait to go back!
Beautiful casino. Something for everyone even beginners. I played blackjack and left with $10 profit which isn't much but it was enough for me to get the casino experience and not get ripped off
Kind of a full Atmosphere. From outside it looks like a huge building but from inside it all feel small, closed and tight. Employees aren't really at their best. I ended up sitting at a bar for 15 minutes before I got asked what I wanted. There were just 3 other customers at that bar and they were all already served when I arrived. Also, the barman tried to charge me over the real price. Luckily my friend picked up on it before I paid.
Definitely not a world class establishment but its nice. It feels closed in and confusing. The drive there is pretty and the views from the restaurants are nice. We saw pretty good live music. Nothing extraordinary but nothing to complain about either.
I’m not one to go to casinos; in fact I don’t like casinos at all. I went with a close person who likes casinos. Something about the jangle of the slot machines, seizure-inducing lights, and a blur of faces and money — makes me wish there was a quiet room somewhere where one can take a break away from Blurred Lines being played 5 times in half an hour. But that’s typical of casinos and I didn’t look around to see if they have clocks on the wall but can hazard a guess that they probably don’t. The games are well organized and even though I don’t understand a lot of them — I enjoy the mutual respect of the gamblers. As well, as the courteous and polite instructions when I commit a casino faux pas. There is a “us vs them” vibe going on and even the dealers are on our side it sort of seemed. That’s what I liked about this casino. It was well-maintained and I was treated politely. The casino exit is a maze and best described as M.C. Escher’s , “Relativity” painting. The parking was very easy. And the casino is located conveniently on an island. Does anyone else think the casino looks like half of a cruise ship? I just wish they wouldn’t take all my money.
