Choco Musee Erico, Quebec Reviews
I'm giving three stars because the girl behind the counter was very sweet and helpful, otherwise I'd give two stars, maybe even one. This chocolate shop seemed pretty hyped up in the brochure, but once we got there, it was kind of old and worn out looking. We originally came there to watch them make chocolate, but no one was back there making chocolate. There were some cute educational "games" that were explained the background of chocolate. Since I was there, I figured might as well try some chocolate, so I got enough chocolate to meet the credit card minimum, which was three pieces. I did have a mental meltdown when I saw that she handled the candy with bare hands, no tongs or gloves. The chocolate itself wasn't really worth bragging about, they did have unique flavors though. They sold all sorts of other things, like gelato in a cone, etc, but I wasn't feeling adventurous as it didn't look fresh.
Hands down the best chocolates I've had in my life. They also make great ice creams, sorbets, hot chocolates. The boutique is great and tidy, there is a cool chocolate museum attached to it. Everytime I've interacted with the staff, it's been a pleasure, one of the managers even helped me deal with a last minute issue on an order I made on St Valentine's day, when they were obviously flooded with customers. Id recommend trying X or Y chocolate, but they were all amazing so just try one of each ;)
Really cute chocolate museum, the visit is free and they have interactive games. On the other side is a chocolate shop with pastries and ice cream. The chocolate ice cream was delicious. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly.
This is a wonderful little chocolate shop that we come to every time we are in Quebec city. The staff are helpful and there is a little chocolate museum next door. Delicious!
Delicious Gelato. I kept coming back :) They're also known for their chocolates but I go there for their gelato :)
