  • Nice easy walk around the lake. Once you venture to the other side there's a little detour to an alcove. Check it out for a high up view of the lake and mountains beyond.

  • Another wonderful, quick and easy walk. We took 90 minutes and stopped at every vantage point along the way. Mt. Cook unfortunately did not cooperate behind the clouds on an otherwise beautiful June day. The gift shop is pricey and we didn't stop at the cafe.

  • Stunning reflection views on nice weather days. Worth the 1-1.5hr walk around the lake. Reflection Island is the best spot for photos. :)

  • Lovely scenic walk of 4.4 km.

  • Just mesmerising - amazing photo opportunities, and beautiful scenic walk + lookouts
