Salmon Farm Cafe, Queenstown Reviews
Secluded place for having a rest in this area. The smoked salmon bread is good. They have salmon pond in the back but no access for visitors.
Excellent spot for lunch even dinner if you stay near by. I stopped accidently on the way to Queenstown from Franz Joseph. Chowder was fantastic, very good ambient. Strongly recommand. I will visit whenever I come to NZ South Island. It's actually best spot in my whole 6 day journey for nd of year holiday. Thanks
Average quality in terms of freshness and taste. Expectation was higher given there is a Salmon farm at the back.
Salmon was great! This is one of the last stops on the west coast before travellers drive through the haast pass. But lady was quite unhelpful when we asked whether we could borrow their WiFi to do a quick check on whether the haast pass had reopened. WiFi was necessary as mobile reception is non existent in that area. We didn't want to risk driving 1 hour just to find out that the pass was still closed and have to u-turn.
beautiful people serving you and very good food. it is worth the trip. :):):):)👍👍👏✌
