When you visit Saptaparni Cave in Rajgir, you get a chance to explore the area where the first Buddhist council was supposedly held after Buddha died. A place where Buddha medicated before his death, this cave is a blend of religion and history. It is tucked away in the hills behind Lakshmi Narayan Temple and you have to hike for around half an hour to reach the natural platform of this cave. Do not forget to carry a torch with you as the natural light is very less inside the cave.
