The City Market in Raleigh was first established in October 1914 amidst a great buzz and some dire requirement by the townsfolk for a central market area. Soon this area was a busy section of the town filled with sellers showing of their wares and enthusiastic buyers from all over North Carolina swarming in to take a look. Here you can find anything that your shopaholic heart desires and still is the economic capital of the city.

City Market Reviews & Ratings
Literally my favorite place to go eat/drink in Raleigh. Their wings are the BEST! They usually have decent beer specials too. Sometimes I’ll buy their hot buffalo sauce in a jar and cook with it. Lastly, their staff is always very friendly!
Literally the best chicken tenders I've ever had, hands down. Also an awesome beer selection! And the gentleman who served my friend and I at 9ish pm was friendly and helpful.
This place is outrageously terrible! My friends and I went to go eat there at 12:00 midnight, after going to a big event in Raleigh. We walked in and no one was was there to greet us. So, we had to find a table ourselves. It takes the employees 15 minutes to noticed us and asked us what we want. After we ordered, it takes them approximately 40 minutes to serve our food. It’s ridiculous because it wasn’t that busy at all. Anyway, the food there is terrible and the waiters there is RUDE! My friends and I spot one of our waitress serving a lot of alcohol to this guy. She was drinking with him on her job, which is very unprofessional! Another waiter claims she’s the “manager” was also very unprofessional because she didn’t bother to check in on us when we needed something. All she did was gave us bad food, walks away, and ignored us. I also had to stand up from my seat to ask for a check. Later on, I made a complaint about my friend losing her airpods and I got cussed out by the “manager”. I wasn’t trying to be rude whatsoever but just being straightforward. I wish I can give this place 0 stars. Go to a better place that have better customer service, waitress, manager and good food.
Food is greasy and great. Service is excellent. Drink specials are cheap.
Man the wings were straight up perfect. Rob ( the bartender) really made sure we had a blast during the game going above and beyond throughout the Celtics loss. 👍 This is the spot to go for game day! Keep it up guys and what a great atmosphere when your team is winning!
