Some of the famous Raleigh events and festivals are:
- Ray Price Motorsports Expo: Easily the biggest and longest-running festival in the history of Raleigh city, the 3 day Expo attracts crowds of more than 125,000 people to witness the stunt shows, exquisite bike displays and other events, held in Raleigh Convention Center around September.
- North Carolina Literary Festival: The festival aims at encouraging and inculcating the love for reading in audiences of all ages. The festival has book signings, author readings, various children’s activities and lots of opportunities for book lovers to interact with their favorite writers. James B. Hunt Jr. Library plays host in the month of July.
- Hopscotch Music Festival: This 3 day extravaganza is probably the most enjoyable and rapidly growing music festival in the whole country. The genre ranges from folk to hip hop to EDM and thus allows everyone to join in the fun. Held in September the music festival is held at multiple locations in Raleigh.
