Annai Indira Gandhi Road Bridge, Rameshwaram Reviews
I just loved the view from the bridge. Really windy. You can see the 5 o'clock train passing on the bridge at around 5.20ish. Beautiful. I wish we could park and spend more time there
Very nice view this bridge. It is a connecting between the island and the mainland of India. A wonderful architecture structure of Indian. It connecting the mainland with Rameswaram by rail. It can open when ships has crossed line. It is a really good place to get some good pictures as scenery is blue on both sides. The bay water is also very refreshing for a walk out.
Pamban Bridge connects Rameshwaram to the mainland India. The bridge has two parts one for the plane and one for the road vehicles. The view from the bridge is just mesmerizing. Although parking on the bridge is prohibited, it is commonly seen that people stop here and click pics. The blue waters with a few boats give you a fantastic scenery to enjoy the nature.
It's become more of a tourist sight seeing. Police is strict up here as the bridge is narrow and if you park your car for Long they'll fine you RS.600. But trust me the views are fantastic and you should definitely stop here while visiting Rameshwaram and you're very lucky if you see the train passing by or the bridge opening up.
One of the modern engineering miracle and wonder. Has a long standing history. It has the privilege of connecting the island to the mainland India. Very crucial link for both the lands. The water and bay is also very refreshing for a walk out and evening sight seeing. Rameswaram has been its asset for connectivity. Enjoyed the ride along. Would have been more great if it's painted to save its life.
