  • One of the modern engineering miracle and wonder. Has a long standing history. It has the privilege of connecting the island to the mainland India. Very crucial link for both the lands. The water and bay is also very refreshing for a walk out and evening sight seeing. Rameswaram has been its asset for connectivity. Enjoyed the ride along. Would have been more great if it's painted to save its life.

  • A wonderful architectural structure of modern India. The pictures of the bridge are itself speak how this huge craftsmanship was created in the sea. It connects the mainland with Rameshwaram by rail. The bridge has an other significant wonder, it can be opened from the centre so as to give way to the ships crossing that line. Standing and watching it from the Road bridge is itself a very hilarious job.

  • Great place with a nice view. Windy. If you are lucky, will see a train passing through. It's okay to park small vehicles for a short time on the bridge, if there is no traffic jam. Though there is a board indicating ₹600 fine for parking. Not recommended to get down to the seashore at the end of bridge. The place is dirty.

  • Finest engineering that you can see India is having at Rameswaram. The bridge is really an amazing structure. The working really makes a thrilling feeling. Wait till you observe the train running in these railway bridge. Waiting will be worth by eating salted and spiced flavour cut mangoes being sold by street vendors.

  • Apart from religious importance, the interior of the village is a beautiful fishing haven. Danushkodi is a must visit place, geographically and historically important part of India. Mind you this is not the end point of India. This is tip of Indian peninsula geographically but politically Indira point in Andaman islands is the tip of India. Hotels and food are reasonably priced. Too many things to explore, take your time and enjoy.
