Robert Bruno Steel House Reviews & Ratings
This is a private home, only open to the public on certain occasions as a fund raiser for our property owners association volunteer firefighters. It is locked. The ground around it is very rough and unattended children could be seriously hurt. There is no parking around it and all the amenities at the Lake are privately owned and for the use of property owners only. So unless a specific event is broadcast, please don't drive from far away, you will only be able to drive by and grab a quick photo from the car window. Near Christmas you might be able to pay to fly around it and see our neighbors Christmas lights. But it is not a tourist destination. It is a private home.
Looks awesome! Heard that the guy who built it died and he didn't get to enjoy this beautiful place. It is closed for public since it was a private place. But I heard it opens once a year but don't know when.
The last and unfinished house created by the famed loony architect Bruno overlooks Ransom Canyon, TX. The views alone are worth a visit. The tours are limited but the outside of the house is always available to visitors. A neighbor across the street is currently tending for the house. The house will never be finished as not to compromise the late Bruno's vision for this grand home.
This was an amazing experience. I am an architecture student at Texas Tech and when I am in need of inspiration for my work I come here and just recently my studio took a field trip and visited the inside and around the building. It was absolutley amazin
Very particular design home all realized in iron, placed in a fantastic contest with lake view.
