Ratnadurg Fort was built during Bahamani period and owing to the Bhagwati Temple inside the fort, it has gained lots of importance in the past. You will be able to see the lighthouse on one side of the fort and a pond and a well inside the premises. You can trek to the fort from Ratnagiri and on your way, you will be able to capture some nice views. The caves under the fort are a nice site to explore. Bhagwati Temple inside Ratnadurg Fort is beautiful and very peaceful. Try to come here during mornings and you will be able to enjoy nature at its best.
