One of the most stunning caves in the Rhodopes Mountain, it is one of the most popular tourist attractions in beautiful Bulgaria. Located in the south west of the village of Yagodina, it is 10 kilometers long and is sprawled across three floors. Only the lowest floor is open to tourists for viewing and the marble caves are at a temperature of 6 to 8 degrees throughout the year. You can enter the cave through a tunnel and follow the path to a long stretch. This stretch has hundred-year-old formations of stalactites and stalagmites, illuminated by lights. There is also a wedding chapel where couples can get married in the beautiful setting of marble and nature. A less known fact is that this cave is also known as the New Year’s hall as a lot of visitors come here on New Year’s to bring in the new year in an unusual manner.
