Not to be confused with a church with a similar name Minster church of St. Mary which is close by. St Mary’s church is part of a group named Church of England which is Anglican congregation along with 3 other churches. The church was built somewhere around early 1800s and some additions were made later. The original structure represent a more Georgian style while the addition represent more of a Corinthian styled hexagonal portico. A simple church with a quiet ambience, worth a visit.
