Wellington Country Park, Reading Reviews
so much to do here, we loved the farm and giant bouncy pillow. lovely food, the adventure playground was perhaps a little crazy for my little one, she loved the mini train though. It doesn't always seem to be in order so best check beforehand. Pricey for a small family, although the season ticket seems good value if you go often enough. Nice place to visit all year round
We camped on site. One group of drunk campers ruined one night's sleep but we're asked to leave in the morning. This did not take away from the amazing park or camping facilities. All were well kept easy to access. Awesome for family campers with young kids. Restaurant serves larger portions on the lunch menu. We will return and have recommended to others.
Kids and adults in our party absolutely loved it. So much to do in a wide open space. The kids really enjoyed the dinosaur section and the Thomas train.
More than one great day out. There is so much to do in the park that we find new parts each time. They also have a good cafe and plenty of ice cream and drinks stalls scattered around the park and the toilets are well maintained. There is also a couple of things you need to spend more money on once in the park like the train and the electric cars but there is plenty to do without going on these things if you wanted. We have become a member as the individual price is a bit high to do every time and because of the great play parks and splash zone we are going to come lots of times to wear the kids out.
The best place of you have kids under 8! There's so much to do, you won't be able to do it all in one day. The farm is small but lovely and very safe. The new splash zone is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers as it's much safer than a paddling pool. There are always lots of benches for a lovely picnic by the lake and they serve an excellent hot chocolate for colder days. My boys favourite is the little train (refurbished in 2017). Great day out for all the family!
