Wellington Country Park, Reading Reviews

  • So much to do here! Lots of mini parks with slides etc for the kids, there’s a little dinosaur walk and enchanted wood. The petting zoo is great fun and your kids can feed the animals etc. There is a splash zone also for the kids. You can easily spend the whole day here. Parking is free but entrance tickets a little pricey but I think it’s good value for money. All in all it has been a great family day out and I would certainly recommend this country park!

  • A very nice park to visit. Lots to grounds and great Splash pool. I would say don't bother with the face paint if you want to allow your kids on the bouncy pillow which is right next to the face painting stand. They will not be allowed on it! Not such good placement or maybe to make you get face painting done twice... Who knows! Hot food seems to finish quite early. The park in general is good though.

  • Great place for little ones, it does get busy on a nice summer day but it's a big enough park that if you aren't bothered about the more popular bits you can still find a quiet picnic spot. My little boy (2) adores the water area and the dinosaur playground. Well worth looking at an annual pass if you're local with little ones.

  • Came camping for the weekend with friends. Great pitch with electric hook up point. Weather is very hot but campsite is nice and cool in the woodland. Kids have enjoyed petting farm and now in the Adventure playground. Looking forward to train ride later bad see water play to cool off. A great place to spend quality time with friends and family.

  • A great day out despite the price. I'm always shocked by the price, but once you're there it's all worthwhile on a sunny dry day. So much to do, you can fill a day with ease. Kids up to 9-10 will love it.
