Great name for this relaxing natural area with mostly easy, well-kept trails through open and forested land. Occasional small benches help visitors take in the quiet, simple beauty. In late Oct., our fellow visitors included small groups of people, a high school art class or two, and some couples and joggers, though the park is large enough to never seem too busy. I was glad that there was a small portable restroom at the entrance. I don't recall seeing trash cans, playgrounds, grill areas, or anything for sale. I'd rate the park 3.5 stars, if I could.
Very nice walk and the views are great, although the trail is quite short-- don't come here for extended hiking.
Great place to take a walk. Very good place to just connect with nature, or walk and talk with friends.
Great views of the Hudson and easy rambles through fields and forest.
A beautiful walk in fields and woods, with views of the Hudson, the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge. A wonderful rough wood pavilion is the center piece of the park, and there are benches for resting your feet and enjoying views throughout. For runners, a loop around the park is very nearly a perfect trail runner 5K.
