This is a Byzantine Catholic Monastery is situated on the hillside on Tomki road in Redwood Valley California. The monastery follows the Byzantine rites and has a great significance among the Catholic community of California. The church offers Divine Liturgy every Sunday at 10am and focuses on the importance of prayer. If you are coming here on Sunday, you can also have the vegan food in the monastery, which is simple but delicious. Inside the monastery, you will see a private detached cell for each monk and a retreat house. There is an outdoor chapel, dining room, bookstore and a several miles hiking trail. The architecture is a combination of classic onion domes and rural Northern California bare wood.
