Pathankot is the nearest biggest city with two railway stations. Behind this town stands high ranges of Dhauladhar mountains, whose tops remain snow covered for most part of the year. End April, the weather is very hot and may reach 40°C at its highest peak of the day. In winter, it can become very cold. Rehan produces local honey, oil, cheese, vegetables yet exports very little. Himachal Pradesh is one of the first states of India to obtain local water in large quantities for its population. Rehan has is made up of a very large countryside. People speak basically in Pahari language. On 7th jan 2012 Rehan witnessed dense snow fall first time in the history. Rehan's countryside (Pandora and Chattar) was flooded with the white snow.
