Ayalon Institute Museum Reviews & Ratings

  • This is a fantastic experience! Our tour guide, Michal, was very knowledgeable and provided a wonderful overview of the historical importance of the bullet factory. Not to be missed!!!

  • Real life changing history filled with very brave and determined people. This bravery sowed the seeds for generations to reep. A must visit.

  • Great museum and the story of the people was even more incredible. To see how these young people made sacrifices to help make ammunition underground and under the noses of the British to support the Israeli fighters was amazing.

  • Located on a kibbutz this is an extremely nInteresting historical exhibit and tour of the underground movement's weapons mfg. Operating right under the nose of the British during the war for independence. The guide was informative but not very polished, the exhibits we're a bit crude(paper mache figures showed their age and lack of skill in execution) and the price @$25 was a bit high for the presentation but you'll see things you've only heard about and the grounds are lovely!

  • A must visit for some very interesting history. You must book in advance - call them first thing in the morning or better yet, a few days before. If taking public transportation, expect a solid 15 minute or more walk to get there from the bus station. Not all taxi drivers know where this is, not even locals.
