Animal Ark Reviews & Ratings
Absolutely worth the drive! We were in Reno for a conference and needed to do something fun with the kids. On the way out to Animal Ark my son said "I sure hope this is worth the drive". It was worth it and more. Beautifully kept grounds along with friendly staff made this a great outing. Almost all the animals were active and the bear feeding was fun to see. My kids would go back over and over if we could!
This place is clean, well maintained and has lots of room for each animal in a beautiful, natural setting. They have friendly and knowledgeable caretakers walking around ready to answer any questions and tell you about each of their rescued animals. There's a good amount of walking. So wear good shoes😉
The volunteers and staff love what they do and it shows. Very clean and organized. Each animal has their own story and facility is well maintained. Highly recommend for kids and family. Its outdoors so great walking shoes, strollers are good to use.
We did the night tour... animal viewing was among the best I've ever seen. Animals were shown in their nighttime comfort zone, some very large... mountain lions, bears, wolves. Excellent! Guides knew the animals well and were very informative.
Most the enclosures are perched on hills. So everywhere u walks seems like uphill. They have vehicles for the handicapped. The place is clean and neat. Personnel are friendly and welcoming. I encourage everyone to visit and enjoy animals and a nice hike at the Ark!
