Rancho San Rafael Regional Park Reviews & Ratings
Awesome place for anyone that has a big dog to run their energy out and socialize with other dogs... Biggest park I've ever been to besides golden gate park in Frisco!! I barely experienced a quarter of the Park while I was there. A lot to do there besides the dog park. Walking trails , giant Arbor garden, as well as jungle gyms for kids. All around awesome place to go!
It was amazing to be part of such a great event. The Great Reno Hot 🔥 Air Balloon 🎈 Race. I had the awesome time. Plenty parking outside the park if you don't wanna park inside. The charge is just $10 dollars 💵 and you have to walk. No bad for a morning stroll around the park. You must get the there around 3:30 am to be able to be the first ones in. Lots of place to park your 🚙. The early the better for you to find a confortable spot to see the entire show.
The disc golf course is nice. No trees, but lots of sagebrush. You get a nice little hike on the back nine, but you can easily twist an ankle on loose rocks if you're not careful.
Great for walks, family outings, dogs and all kinds of fun stuff to do such as...... The Great Reno Balloon Races! If you haven't gone. Trust me, go. It's beautiful.
Clean & stocked restrooms, well placed. Helpful visitors center. Well situated easy to navigate. Beautifully maintained. Pet friendly!
